A new family of Thyracont intelligent hand-held vacuum meters and dataloggers has been introduced by Creative Group. The four instruments in the range cover absolute vacuum measurements from rough vacuum down to 5x10-4 mbar. Each unit can be supplied with optional built-in datalogging facilities and an infrared interface for remote communications. These rugged, compact, battery powered instruments can display readings in mbar, torr and hPa and the logged measurements can be downloaded into the supplied VacuGraph Windows software, for trending and archiving.
The meters can be fixed to the vacuum plant via an integral stainless steel flange mounted on the rear of the instrument or via a flying lead to a remote sensor. The long battery life, extensive built-in facilities and datalogging capabilities make these instruments ideal for a wide range of applications both in the laboratory and plant.
These new vacuum meters are part of a wide range of Thyracont vacuum instruments from intelligent transducers through to advanced vacuum controllers. The Thyracont range complements Creative’s existing range of vacuum gauges, valves and fittings.
